KENTUCKY FUND - AUCTION OF PROMISES

From Nikki Pearson - Secretary of the Cumbria Group

We are trying to raise money for Kentucky with an Auction of Promises, we have some super lots but a limited number of members so want to invite other EGB members to bid if they would like to.

The Auction is taking place on the evening of the Ravenstonedale Pleasure Ride on the 19th June. If you are not able to attend but would like to enter a bid then please send details of the lot number you want, your opening bid and your maximum bid to Ros at rosdenby@googlemail.com . You will then be entered into the bidding (anonymously if you wish) at the appropriate time. Your bid will be managed by an independent person who ensure that you pay no more than £5 more than the top bid to secure the lot for you (within your upper limit).  For example if your opening bid is £10 and your max bid is £25 and the lot starts at £5, your bid of £10 will be entered, if other bids come in and stop at £18, your bid of £23 will be made, if no more bids are made then the item will be knocked down to you at £23. This is the amount you will then be asked to pay for your item. You will be contacted after the event if you have been sucessful to arrange for payment.

A list of the 11 lots is as follows:
